With all the demands of life and the numerous voices surrounding us each day, it's easy to lose sight of God's purpose. God's desire is for us to love and worship Him, and for our lives to be a living testimony, impacting the world around us. Jesus once told His disciples, "Pay close attention to what you hear. The closer you listen, the more understanding you will be given" (Mark 4:24 NLT). And God also tells us through Isaiah "He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught," (Isaiah 50:4 NIV). May we become more attentive students. Oh, Lord, I pray that we will hear Your voice above all others and that You will manifest Yourself through our lives to the world around us.Marlene
